Decided to e-ticket when you snapped up your EarlyTIX? Let us talk you through what you'll be receiving in your email confirmation.
E-Ticketing
Decided to e-ticket when you snapped up your EarlyTIX?
Great! You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order is placed. This email will contain a QR code which is your e-ticket. You don’t need to do much with this for now except to save it in a safe place.
However, if you want to be one step ahead of the crowd you can take a look at some of our top tips below to help you understand how e-ticketing will be implemented at Fringe.
Your QR Code
For each transaction placed you’ll receive a single QR code in your email confirmation. Buying tickets to five shows in one transaction? One QR code will allow you to enter all five shows.
The same rule applies to buying multiple tickets to the same show. One QR code will get yourself and your friends into the show. Handy hint: You can scan the code multiple times, so don’t stress if you’re not all arriving together!
Using Your E-Ticket
No need to print your ticket – for the majority of venues you will flash your phone at the door to enter.
There are a few exceptions to this rule. If you buy a ticket to one of these venues, we’ll send you separate instructions to make the process easy breezy.
Misplaced Your E-Ticket?
Don’t fret if you misplace your email confirmation. Your QR code will always live in your MyFringe account, so you can log back in to find it. Otherwise, you can always give us a call to re-send your confirmation, or simply pop into a Box Office from December to grab a printed ticket instead.
