It’s Getting Hot in Here!

@juniperfox__ @smut_theshow at @foolsparadisefestivals was an excellent way to end a busy Saturday at Adelaide Fringe! 

@smut_theshow is on a mission to prioritise, platform, and celebrate the sex worker (SWER) community through strip-club performances, burlesque, circus, sideshow. I think the show does this fabulously by putting the performers on a pedestal as the artists they are. Very happy to cheer for the skill and practice required to achieve those tricks and that flexibility 👏👏👏👏👏👏. 

About the funniest bit was one of the artist, was kinda dancing near me but not clearly inviting engagement . I’m usually the safe person that feels left out if I don’t get a lap dance but I didn’t know this artist so all I’m thinking is …. Respect the artist… no touching… looked like a Burlesque Virgin… and it wasn’t even my first Burlesque show THAT NIGHT ! 

@kitty_obsidian was the perfect choice for host! Their style and natural charisma on stage was the perfect way to guide the audience through a series of epic performances whilst explaining some of the wider themes central to the show like inclusion and diversity! And they looked freaking hot doing it! 

The artists were AMAZING!!! Exuded confidence which I Love! There was a fair bit of… your legs aren’t supposed to bend that way looks from me… some seriously hot pole dancing …. diversity in casting… Did I mention love!!!

Two very industrious thumbs up will definitely be back next year!
