A powerful unravelling of the magic behind our interoceptiveness and a timely reminder of becoming divinely guiding in our own lives and in our own community ecosystems

THIS WAS A "WATCH FROM HOME/AVAILABLE ON DEMAND" SHOW WHICH WAS A RECORDING FROM 2022 - WHICH MEANS I GOT TO SEE AN OLD FRIEND JAMILA'S PERFORMANCE FINALLY! THIS CABARET WAS A COMBINATION OF BURLESQUE, SONG AND COMEDY PERFORMED BY DISABLED ARTISTS, ALL LED BY FANTASTIC HOST DIANA DIVINE. TRULY ACHIEVED ITS GOAL OF SHOWING ALL THOSE WITH DISABILITIES ARE CAPABLE OF!

A VERY ACCESSIBLE CABARET WITH AN EXCELLENT CONCEPT, TELLING THE PERFORMER'S STORY OF LIVING WITH INVISIBLE ILLNESSES THAT REMAINS RELATABLE EVEN IF YOU'VE NEVER EXPERIENCED IT. I LIKED HOW EDUCATIONAL THE DIALOGUE WAS, HOW FUN THE SONGS WERE AND REALLY APPRECIATED THE CHANGES OF SETTING BUT CONSISTENT COSTUME. IN SAYING THIS, THE EXECUTION COULD'VE BEEN BETTER RE EDITING AND SOUND MIXING AND SOME DIRECTION.
The Hotline - The receiver and cord for a red rotary phone lies on top of an open Yellow Pages. A pencil and a plain green business card also sits on the page. The card reads: The Hotline. Call now.

Featuring circus, theatre, dance, comedy, magic, live music, and tech-driven acts (such as electric unicycle stunts), it's basically all of the Fringe rolled into one show. But though it has a massive amount of variety, it has a strong and unique identity, and the performances explore ideas about technology, art, and being human which strings all the acts together. See this show!

Singin In The Pain is my favourite show every year at Fringe. It's such an important show, that holds space for disabled people. It's cathartic, it's community, it's so so special, it's hard to put into words what this show means to me as a fellow disabled performer

This show puts disabled performers and accessibility to the forefront of the arts without turning it into something 'inspirational for the ableds'. I applaud the mix of talent being showcased, with each performer clearly passionate about what they are doing. Made me cry, made me laugh, made me feel all of the things. 10/10.

Like a big cathartic hug. Now more than ever in this hellscape of life we need community and Diana Divine is out here making sure people are seen and held in that. Screaming from the rooftops how important this show is

A stellar cast in this line-up, funny, emotional and relatable. Capturing both a sense of disability pride and disability rage, while also being very entertaining.

As a person with a disability, I spent the entire time yoyoing between side splitting laughter and tears of understanding and recognition. Hilarious and powerful in equal measure
