Tell me about e-ticketing!
An e-ticket (electronic ticket) is the digital equivalent of a paper ticket, and a more efficient method of ticket entry. A QR code will be displayed in your order confirmation which will be emailed to you after you purchase your tickets. Some venues will be scanning your QR code and other venues will continue to mark you off a door list or issue you with a raffle-style ticket once you get to the venue. Basically, your order confirmation / tax invoice email will suffice as your ticket and you won't need to queue for collection! Lumo Energy SA is the official Ticketing Partner for Adelaide Fringe.
Yes! In 2019, Adelaide Fringe introduced e-ticketing for the first time and each year we have continued to reduce the amount of physical tickets as we progress further into a digital world. In alignment with our sustainability practices, Adelaide Fringe will be a paperless festival with E-tickets being our standard option. Lumo Energy SA is the official Ticketing Partner for Adelaide Fringe.
What if I can’t access the emailed e-ticket?
You can access your QR code by logging into your MyFringe account and finding your QR code in the My Orders section of your account. You can also call us on 08 8100 2000 or email us at customerservice@adelaidefringe.com.au and we can resend your email.
If so, how would I give/ transfer my ticket to my friend? You can forward your e-ticket on but keep in mind if you have purchased multiple tickets in one transaction, the QR code will allow anyone with the QR code entry to all shows in the transaction.
It is handy to carry your ID on you at all times. Venues will ask to sight your applicable form of ID if you have purchased a concession ticket and some venues will need to sight ID for their Liquor Licence requirements.
The transaction is instant. You can book up until the show starts at selected venues. This means that you can be standing at a venue and buy a ticket without having to visit a Box Office!
There are some events that are durational in nature, that allow you to book after the start time.
You can use any device that has access to your email/screenshot of your order confirmation so that we can sight the booking information or QR code.
Always check your junk folder if you don't think you have received an email from us. If the email doesn't arrive or you accidentally delete your email, never fear! You can access your QR code by logging into your MyFringe account and finding your QR code in the My Orders section of your account. You can also call us on 08 8100 2000 and we can resend your email.

Can you send me a printed copy of the Fringe Guide?
Can I get into a venue without a ticket?
The best way to plan your night is to use our Daily Diary, you can filter by the date you want to go out, filter by the venue of your choice and browse all events by time. The Daily Diary will be available when the 2025 Program launches.
Can you sponsor my event or donate to my fundraiser?
Unfortunately we are not able to sponsor your event, organisation or fundraiser. Adelaide Fringe is a not-for-profit that operates as an umbrella organisation for artists.
As an open-access festival, independent artists pay a fee to be registered in Adelaide Fringe, and use their own funds to stage their productions and/or run their venues. Although Adelaide Fringe retains a small servicing and transaction fee, the majority of the ticket sales income goes directly back to the artists.
Help! I’ve lost something at an Adelaide Fringe venue!
Adelaide Fringe is an open access festival. Every year, hundreds of venues all over the state register to be a part of Fringe; all of these venues are independently run. If you've lost something at a Fringe venue, you will need to contact that venue directly. Venue contact information can be found on our website by using the venue search option.
How do I apply to have a stall at next year’s Fringe?
Adelaide Fringe is an open access arts festival; we don’t run our own venues and, therefore, don’t coordinate any stalls for catering or goods for sale.
Venues make their own arrangements for stalls and catering. If you're interested in having a stall at a Fringe venue, you will need to contact that venue directly.
