Chaos Cabaret is Tash York at her absolute finest bringing together incredible performers in a unique variety show format where Tash can show case every one of her many many skills. Tash York’s Chaos Cabaret had always been a pleasure to attend and this years performance has carried on a happy tradition from a show produced by a Fringe Icon in Tash York.

To understand the tone of Tash York’s Chaos Cabaret, first you need to understand @tashyorkinit … the woman, the myth, the legend. She is larger than life, high energy, friend to everyone. She’s the kind of girl that treats leopard print as a neutral. Tash York is the girl that convinces you to come out for one drink after work on Friday and you wake up on Monday with a Tiger in the Bathroom or Tour with Taylor Swift or just in a random other country or some derivative of all three. And it’s that mad energy that makes her performances so engaging and charismatic! Ultimate wild child cool girl glamour QUEEN!

Now let me tell you about the format…. Three contestants that are selected from a pool of arts performers like drag, cabaret singers, burlesque etc. The contestants hand over a backing tape ahead of time and Tash screws around with the last minute or so of the music just to see if the performers can improvise. Spoiler Alert… some are better than others!

After the first round there was 2 more rounds before a winner was crowned. Through the second two rounds Tash had the rook playing games and taking to each other and other helpful things!

Tash had the audience to on vote who would through to the grand final,  the theme, uniforms etc - Audience participation was cool. Made me fe involved in what was happening.

The contestants were @kitty_obsidian @lyralabelle and @gogobumhole . I’ve seen @kitty_obsidian & @lyralabelle perform many times so I wasn’t at all surprised to see these fabulous humans knock it out of the park even with @tashyorkinit s meddling!!!

I was a @gogobumhole virgin until tonight and oh my… pretty sure I’m in love…. Yes again… I love a lot of people… what you gonna do about it.

I have no words for @gogobumhole performance… just a series of emojis 😮🫶❤️🔥👍 DEFINITELY Get to their show at Fool’s Paradise next week if you can!  They were everything! So much love!

Tash York has done it again! Amazing show from an amazing woman! I’d go to the opening of an envelope if the envelope opening show was being hosted by and featured original music by Tash York.
