If your kids are the type that are always turning the loungeroom upside down, building blanket forts, playing “the floor is lava” or simply climbing all over the furniture, then this is the show for you!

With simple household furniture as props, the two performers explore, imagine, and create increasingly complex scenarios with increasingly impressive acrobatics. 

A couch, chairs, broomsticks and sheets become a tent, an ironing board and bin become a balancing act and stacked chairs and a coffee table become a mountain to climb.

The show is a little slow in the beginning, but builds to an impressive display of fun acrobatics and clowning. This is classic physical theatre, with almost no dialogue. The performers expertly rely on non-verbal communication with amusing facial expressions, a touch of slapstick and a lot of imagination that plays into the hands of kids at every stage. While the show isn’t fast paced, the performers never dwell on each “bit” for very long before moving on to another imaginative interpretation with their props, keeping kids engaged and amused.

Parents may be worried that their kids will be inspired to replicate some of the feats in the show – this worry is addressed with an end of show disclaimer that their props are specially engineered – balancing on your ironing board at home could be disastrous! They encourage kids to keep climbing, but check with a responsible adult first (if they can find one).
