Adelaide is so lucky to have scored the premiere of this show. Incredibly witty, fun, and performed with total enthusiasm by a very talented cast. Steph Broadbridge deserves enormous praise for coming up with this show and having the guts to show it to the world. A few technical issues in keeping with its shoe-string budget didn't dampen the enjoyment at all. A literal standing ovation which was well deserved! I hope it comes back to town soon.

Great show I’m so glad we were given the opportunity to view it

This may be one of the best Fringe shows I've ever seen. An absolute p*ss-take, but also a tale of aspiration and giving things a red-hot go. If that's not the most Aussie musical I've ever heard of, I don't know what is!

The moment that this show was announced I had tickets, and I was not disappointed. Person complaining about sound was probably sitting in the bands seats accidentally. Yep there was one stuff up, but they sorted so efficiently that I actually thought it was part of the show for a moment. 10 out of 10. Wear a tenna pad just in case.

Finally, a show that tells the story of the true Aussie battler who pursued her break dancing dreams.

Absolutely hilarious!

Excellent and funny performance ruined by absolutely abysmal audio and audio mixing. The piano was far too loud. Some singers' vocal were far too soft. I could understand maybe half the words being sung, my friend next to me understood almost nothing the actors said. When leaving the show I heard another audience member say they need hearing aids because the show was inaudiable. It wasn't their hearing that was faulty: it was whoever set up the sound.

I wasn't sure if I'd like Breaking the Musical but I loved it! It's funny & well written with a large talented cast. Steph Broadbridge creatively shows many angles to the Spraygun story in a uniquely Australian way. All Fringe performances are now sold out, so I look forward to seeing this again in a huge theatre. 5 ⭐️
