Overcoming first night nerves to deliver a funny show in a terrific venue, this show provides observations on everyday life that will make you laugh out loud.

Comedian David Callan clearly loves his homeland Scotland and his adopted Australia. Much of his material draws on his experience of arriving in Australia as a working holidaymaker, meeting a girl and deciding to stay. Now firmly an Aussie citizen, his humour is relatable, providing wry observations on some of the idiosyncrasies of Australia and its people. This comedian interacts with his audience, adapting material to meet them where they’re at and take them somewhere funny.

Six tremendous Australian wines including varietals you may not guess straight away. Generous tastings of each and a funny, informed and thoroughly enjoyable wine guide in Merrick. Great value and a lot of fun.

Great hosting, four talented and diverse comedians, four different venues, each with their charm and character. Especially loved the outdoor venue at the Rhino Room. If you want a taste of different Adelaide Fringe comedians and to visit venues you may not usually choose, this is a great night out shared with people you may have never met but you connect with as you hop across Adelaide bars both known and hidden.

Take two flight attendants from their Canberra crew base, drop them into The Piglet and watch them conduct one of the funniest pre-flight safety briefings you’ve seen. Add three comedy acts to watch interspersed with our comic flight attendants and what do you get? … In-flight entertainment that surpasses anything on Qantas or Virgin’s flights and unlike Jetstar, this show runs on time!

Great music from the live band. Brilliant hosting and audience interaction. Really good venue (and particularly good cocktails). And skilled and varied burlesque performances. Whether you’ve seen a burlesque show before or you are new to this art form (these audiences members give the best reaction!), this is a high quality show that lets it all hang out in the name of art. A really fun night.

Poignant, funny, deep and … well … not so much. This emotional roller coaster of a show takes you on a deeply personal journey through James’ experience of trauma. A really enjoyable and moving show.

Pedro’s performance of funny and historically referenced dialogue is clever, using different characters to deliver a show that keeps the audience engaged throughout. We thought this show would be good but the show exceeded our expectations.

Stand up is hard for any performer and Delhi Bouy delivers amusing observations of his life in Australia whilst drawing in the audience and their experiences to land his jokes. Some jokes fall flat but are handled with self-deprecating humour. If you have an engaged crowd, this show will fly better. A fun show worth a go.

Incredibly funny social observation. Went to this show with my wife, herself a teacher, the jokes rang true with this great performance. Don’t for teachers and those with memories of school alike!
