We love a kid free night at the Fringe and LOVED this one even more with its hassle free onsite parking at the big top on West Terrace (Ellis Park). Talk about a big opening act, woot! You had our attention right away. Sexy as hell, unreal music and lets call it 'the pendulum of death'. I don't know what it's actually called but 1. it was trickery I have never seen before (WIN) and 2. it legitimately felt like there was a chance of seeing some one fall (good acting or actual risk, I'm still not sure, and it was brilliant!) The distraction between acts were dancey and scantly clad and yeah, talented. Fringe brings out a lot of g stings and hot AF bodies doesn't it? The music was a vibe. Give me a bouncing man inside a giant balloon any circus of the week - but here you'll find him both nude and with a massive wang - so funny. We enjoyed filling our cups with adult drinks over a quick intermission and the show moved into a raunchy second half including glow in the dark paint, shadow work, some incredible aerial acts and a surprise rubber dildo. I think it was the unexpected things in this show that really won our hearts, and made us roar with laughter. At this point I can also tell you that I will never hold my scarf up at the start of a Port Adelaide footy game to 'never tear us apart' again, with out a quiet smirk. The show finished strong with some unfathomable trapeze work and a cop that was giving Magic Mike vibes. In conclusion, truer words have never been spoken - "this show is not for children" however the 11am weekend time slot is family friendly and we look forward to catching it with our innocent little people.
