Anything is possibubble!

This philosophy of Maxwell the Bubbleologist resonates in the Adelaide Fringe premiere of the remarkabubble The Flying Bubble Show. The show where dreams and reality blur in a breathtaking fusion of bubble magic and aerial flying.

The Willy Wonka of bubble-making welcomes all into his bubbly world as he takes us on a carefully curated bubble dream journey.

Beginning with a bang, Maxwell flies out from behind the curtain, shooting his bubble cannons over the audience as loud music and colourful lighting complements his aerial movements. From the onset, the performance is infectious for children and adults alike.

The pace then slows to allow for some storytelling and intricate bubble-making using smoke and ‘magic’. The show flows well with peaks and troughs to sustain interest, especially when the bubbles are not cooperating.

A common opinion among visiting bubbleologists is that Adelaide’s climate is not conducive to producing the best bubbles. Maxwell echoes this sentiment as he manoeuvres through some unsuccessful tricks. Instead of becoming frustrated, he pivots towards a responsibubble lesson in remaining calm, not giving up and trying again.

Try again; he does. Using bubble chemistry—plenty of water, soap, baking powder, sugar, patience and love—Maxwell concludes the show with a bubble extravaganza, much to the delight of the young crowd.

The Flying Bubble Show is an hour of unstoppabubble fun! For the young and the young at heart, it proves that bubbles are for everyone!
