Australian Highlights
Be part of our FREE event: venture deep into the outback shed then dine like royalty in space!
We’re meeting the innovative people and ideas that are not - yet! - common knowledge. Join Rachel Rayner, Science Explainer, as she uncovers the stories behind our work in science, art & culture.
Each event will host a South Australian innovator and guest performer, who has no idea what they're about to hear.
1 Mar: Mark Thomson, founder of the Institute of Backyard Studies and part of ANU's School of Cybernetics, will introduce us to inventor Henry Hoke, while comedian Claire Ford will have split fact from fiction.
2 Mar: Prof Jenny Mortimer, Plants in Space chief investigator, is sending food into space to survive a trip to Mars. Will it whet the appetite of Fringe highlight Minnie Andrews?
This show is a live recording for the podcast series, Australian Highlights.
