6 Manton is large multi-functional space in Hindmarsh. It’s 1960’s shopfront on Manton Street is home to the iconic Pony + Cole café. Behind the café in light-filled, renovated warehouse spaces is Koush Design Studio, Stone and Quoin Printmaking Studio and the 6 Manton Gallery and Events space.
The Gallery features a diverse and regularly changing Exhibition and Events program which has showcased several solo exhibitions by emerging and established artists, a Makers Market, Steamroller Printing of large scale artworks, SALA group exhibitions, and live performances There is a carpark adjacent to 6 Manton (just look for the green wall with the huge 6) and there’s also parking in the surrounding streets and the Entertainment Centre, or catch the tram and wander 5 minutes down the mural-clad Crawford Lane to Manton St. Once you’ve found us - the café is open for breakfast and lunch 7 days, and the studios by appointment.
