Located 40 minutes outside of Adelaide the iconic Shedley Theatre complex was first opened in 1965 and is northern Adelaide's premier arts venue. Since its opening, Shedley Theatre has played host to a variety of musicals, comedy and vaudeville acts, concerts and more- developing its rich history in the music and art scene of Adelaide.
The theatre itself has a capacity of 387 and boasts a large stage with enormous depth (10m deep x 10m wide).The orchestra pit, located below stage level and out of view from the audience, comfortably accommodates a 12-piece band. The theatre also features three large dressing rooms and premium light and sound equipment.
In the atrium of the Shedley Theatre, there is a bar for attendees to enjoy pre and post-drinks and snacks during their visit to matinee or evening performances.
