Honey Pot is Adelaide Fringe’s International Arts Marketplace. Think of it as a match-making service between passionate industry leaders and motivated artists who are looking to take their events to the next level.

Honey Pot is Adelaide Fringe’s International Arts Marketplace. Think of it as a match-making service between passionate industry leaders and motivated artists who are looking to take their events to the next level. 

Marketplace delegates in 2021 will participate in-person and virtually, ensuring our continued international engagement with new and returning industry from around the world. With close to 200 delegates from 20 countries already confirmed, and registrations remaining open throughout the festival, this is sure to be another great year to join Honey Pot!

We are excited to include delegates from the UK, South Korea and India as well as a selection of industry from North and South America - all representing festivals, venues and companies. 

The marketplace will also host major hubs from Edinburgh Fringe, renowned theatre venues and music festivals and a number of programmers and presenters from around Australia will be returning, all looking for the next big thing! 

Meet some of our Honey Pot delegates who will be visiting Adelaide Fringe in 2021

Debora Staiff - Virtual Delegate
Argentina
Debora is the Executive Director of Indigo Productions, an independent consultant and production company specialising in the Latin American market. Indigo Productions works with developing Latin American artists to present work internationally and develop the Latin American market for international artists and projects and are looking for arts exchange and collaboration between Australian and Latin American artists.

Kirsty Taylor - Virtual Delegate
United Kingdom
Kirsty Taylor is an Arts Curator for Latitude Festival, the UK's leading major music and multi-arts festival. Each July, for just one weekend, the beautiful natural landscape of Henham Park is transformed into a world built from 14 stages, celebrating comedy, theatre, music, film, dance, literature, poetry, podcasting, live art, cabaret, science and more. Latitude Festival showcases work from artists ranging from household names to emergent makers presenting their first work-in-progress, challenging their 60,000 audience members to join them in discovering new work, new ideas, and new favourites.
 
Bek Berger - Virtual Delegate
Latvia
Bek Berger is the Artistic Director of the New Theatre Institute of Latvia (NTIL), a project based organisation working in the field of contemporary performing arts. Since 1995 NTIL has been organising the International Festival of Contemporary Theatre Homo Novus, which is the largest performing arts platform in Latvia. NTIL also produces and presents projects and long term collaborative programs together with local and international partners, strongly believing in the necessity to explore the contemporary performing arts field together with artists and audiences.
 
Gareth Hart - In-person Delegate
VIC, Australia
Creative Director and CEO of Burrinja Cultural Centre, Gareth Hart, will also be in attendance at our in-person HIVE. Burrinja Cultural Centre is a thriving contemporary community arts organisation, based in the Dandenong Ranges outside of Melbourne. Presenting an annual program of visual, performing and live arts, across three galleries, a 400 seat theatre, an intimate black box/ cabaret venue, and community festivals, Burrinja is looking to connect with makers from around Australia for direct inclusion in their 2021 and 2022 program.
